Main Gaming, organizer of gaming competitions and tournaments, recently held a tournament at Lakeside Mall where more than one hundred gamers participated. Among the prizes, Tritton headsets were given away to the top gamers.

RAT 7 Sets Guinness World Record

The Cyborg RAT 7 has officially set a Guinness World Record for being the most customisable gaming mouse in the world.

ITF Gaming, a South African gaming site, has released a tech review of the Tritton AX Pro. The true Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound headset was introduced to ITF creator Darryl Linington at the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launch event.

IGN Rates Detonator 8/10

IGN, arguably the greatest gaming website in the world, has rated the Tritton Detonator a solid 8/10. The Detonator is Tritton’s entry level headset in the series created exclusively for Xbox and cobranded by Microsoft. According to IGN, the Detonator “performs well” and “delivers a surprising amount of tight, low-end punch for its price.”

MW3 Launch with Tritton

Lucky gamers at the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launch got the unfair advantage when they played the game for the first time – Comet Computing sponsored Tritton AX Pro headsets for the launch!

The MW3 Jeep Wrangler

The launch, organized by Megarom, was held at Gerotek Test Facilities, a division of Armscor Defence Institutes. Gamers experienced jaw-dropping 4WD drives up and down steep, rocky roads in the official MW3 vehicle – the Jeep Wrangler. The drives were followed by team building activities, paintball shooting and, of course, playing MW3 on massive screens while utilizing the Tritton Ax Pro to complete the fully immersive experience.

The AX Pro, a true Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound headset, with microphone, has complete audio controls which allowed the MW3 gamers to customize their 3D audio experience – with the front, rear, center and subwoofer channels right on the inline controller!

R.A.T. Mac software update

Following lots of feedback from the community Cyborg has updated the Mac software for it’s award-winning R.A.T. gaming mouse with the following features:

Cyborg logo is now removable from the menu bar (option to do this is in the PrefPane for the Cyborg software under System Preferences)
Hotkeys for Dashboard and Expose are now assignable – drag from the selection on the right when programming
Added support for R.A.T.7 Albino
Fixed a key repeat issue in World Of Warcraft
Various bug fixes, especially for Lion users
